Needle felt bags give depth filtration in a range of 1 to 200 micron, with 60%-70% efficiency. All felts used in the manufacture of our bags are scrim supported and are heat calendared to eliminate fibre migration.

The fully welded multi-layer construction consists of a pre-filter scrim, a micro fibre filter media and an outer layer giving support and eliminating fibre migration.
Tri-star high efficiency filter bags are available in absolute micron ratings of 0.5, 1, 3, 5, 10, 15, 25 and 50 and 100 micron and are manufactured to industry standard sizes.
The oil absorbent property of Tri-star high efficiency bags makes them particularly useful for decontaminating liquids, for example removing silicones and fluorocarbons from e-coat paints.
